Periodically we have openings for graduate students, research associates, and postdoctoral reseachers in our laboratory in following areas: genomics of abiotic stress tolerance and weediness. Specifically we look for Individuals with experience in plant molecular biology, microarray techniques , and/or proteomics.

PhD Research Assistantship – Molecular Breeding

The School of Plant, Environmental, and Soil Sciences at the Louisiana State University invites applications for immediate recruitment of a full-time Ph.D. Graduate Research Assistant. The prospective candidate should be highly motivated with an interest to work on the interface of plant breeding and plant genomics to improve resistance to aflatoxin accumulation in corn. Students with training in plant breeding, genetics, and molecular biology are strongly encouraged to apply.
